NO GAMES, NO DOUBLE TALK, JUST FAIR DEALINGS W DECENT PEOPLE. I never thought in my wildest dreams I’d find a car dealership that held true to their word, didn’t manipulate numbers, gaslight, and try to be shady. But Mike Johnson’s Toyota in Hickory blew my mind. I called them about 23 days ago trying to find a 2026 RAV4 which are almost impossible to get! I had been to three other dealerships prior and all they did was play games. Patricia Avery At Mike Johnson Toyota did what she said she was going to do and went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. I’m 54 and I don’t think I ever experienced buying a car from a dealership where instead of saying what can we do to get you into this car today, Nate said what can we do to make this experience more pleasant for you. These people actually were honest and forthright w NO GAMES! I had my financing all set up with my credit union, but when I tried to call them when I was ready to purchase my RAV4 that day, it was an over an hour wait over the phone. So Hunter and financing said he can get me a better rate with Toyota and he actually did! WOW mind blown again ! I think it’s because it’s a family owned business and not some corporate place Where profit is always the bottom line and customers come second. I felt I came first at Mike Johnson Toyota! I’m still in shock at what a different car buying experience this was…simply priceless! Thank you again Patricia Avery for making this process easy peasy! As well as Hunter and Nate for dealing w the PTSD that I had from past trauma I had from other unethical dealerships. That was an amazing experience! Oh, WHAT A FEELING to drive a Toyota from Mike Johnson Toyota Hickory, North Carolina!!
